A National Day Celebration Done Right at Sheraton Bahrain

Bahraincover

Sheraton Bahrain Hotel went all out for Bahrain’s National Day this year, and honestly, it sounds like they had a blast doing it. The hotel threw open its doors for a celebration that mixed traditional vibes with some seriously cool local art.

Celebrating With A Dance

The afternoon began with a traditional Ardha dance right at the hotel entrance. For those not familiar, it is the powerful Bahraini cultural dance that’s been around forever, and experiencing it firsthand is mesmerising. It’s the kind of traditional showcase that transcends cultures – so whether it’s a Bahraini or someone from the other side of the world, everyone feels the pride and connection through the art form.

Art Meets Celebration

Once everyone went indoors, things only got more fascinating. As part of their event, they had invited the famous Bahraini artist, Abbas Al Mosawi, to perform a live painting event right in their lobby area.  Something is mesmerising about watching an artist work in real-time, and everyone was fully caught up in it all.

But here’s a cool touch – the lobby also had a mini art gallery going on, featuring some of Al Mosawi’s earlier works that used to hang in the old Sheraton Bahrain. It was like a little trip down memory lane for the hotel and a nice way to keep that artistic connection alive.

Cake, Because Every Good Party Needs Cake

No party’s ever complete without cake. The hotel ended the celebrations with a cake-cutting ceremony in honour of National Day and enjoyed the “we love Bahrain” moment in unison.

The Vibe

The two-hour celebration brought together hotel associates, guests, and community members for what sounds like a genuinely fun afternoon. Sheraton Bahrain clearly wanted to do more than just acknowledge National Day; they wanted to create something people would actually enjoy and remember.
