Mardi Gras comes to Bahrain!

The Ritz-Carlton opens the Beach Season on Thursday 9th March with the Brazilian Beach Carnival. The evening, running from 8pm until 1am will feature a completely Brazilian themed buffet and bar, together with a host of international artistes flying in to bring the event to life on the fabulous La Plage beach.

Headlining the night will be International DJ & Percussionist Joshua Roberts. Joshua’s unique style of play is like no other, mixing, sampling, cutting and scratching through his sets whilst never losing that unmistakable House & Latin groove, his festival set up incorporates the conventional 2 decks with a twist, adding an electronic drum kit & a sampler, one thing is for sure, Joshua never fails to put on a show!

Joshua has supported many artists in his career, Tiesto, David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, Fatboy Slim, Mark Knight, Sander Van Doorn, Deep Dish, Groove Armada, Don Diablo, Judge Jules, Gorgon City, Bakermat & many more. This year Joshua continues his multiple London residencies including The Roof Gardens & Sushi Samba, running his weekly radio show “Destinations”, as well as looking forward to tour dates across Europe & the Middle East, from Ibiza to Bahrain; 2017 is looking like another exciting year for the British DJ.

Supporting Joshua on the Saxophone is Chris Sharp from London. Chris is a professional musician performing at events, clubs and bars internationally, consistently receiving 5 star reviews about his energetic personality and unique stage presence. Chris’ equipment includes a custom built saxophone complete with LED lights and an electronic saxophone that produces sounds from the biggest dance hits over the past 30 years. Chris also uses a wireless microphone to increase his versatility to perform on stage or amongst the crowd, connecting with the audience on a personal level.

Danni, Steph and their team will add an exciting, glamorous finesse to the evening’s entertainment, delivering their spectacular pyrotechnic and spark show to the DJ’s beats. Flying in especially for the event from their residency at London’s Tonteria Night Club, famed for its raucous Dias de los Muertos nights, a night of exciting Latin excesses is guaranteed! ν
