If you have fixed ideas about how an Asian restaurant slash bar and lounge should look like – forget them. Located at the Diplomat Radisson Blu, Bo•Sabi is the hippest place on the island offering elevated Asian fusion cuisine, yummy concoctions, and fun themed nights.
We recently visited the spot and our expectations were definitely exceeded. Here are some reasons why Bo•Sabi should be on top of your list…
The ambiance is spot on
Arriving through the door of Bo•Sabi, visitors head into a sophisticated yet welcoming restaurant and lounge. While the vibrant décor speaks contemporary, there’s a hint of authenticity everywhere you turn – from the wooden floor panels and bamboo columns to the woven ceiling and eye-catching wall art.
There’s a distinct relaxed aura engulfing guests as they explore the place. We don’t know where that’s coming from – but one thing that we know for sure is that this cozy location is all about putting the spotlight on creating fun and delightful experiences for everyone!
The food is amazing!
There’s nothing we could fault after trying the majority of the menu! They have Japanese favorites like maki, temaki, nigiri and sashimi as well as a variety of cold and hot appetizers. Those who are visiting in groups can indulge in the Seafood Towers, Teppanyaki and other mains.
We loved everything that we tried during our visit but our recommendations are:
- Tuna, Salmon and Octopus Nigiri – perfect bar bite if you’re visiting for drinks
- Seafood Yaki Udon, Beef Ramen – our go-to for noodles
- Beef Rendang, Cereal Butter Prawns – must-try for the mains
- Thai Mango Sticky Rice, Banana Fritters – if you’re craving for something sweet
It’s the perfect spot for sunset drinks
Bo•Sabi has a dedicated menu for their drinks, making it an ideal spot for sundown affairs. They have classic and signature cocktails, wines and spirits, as well as mocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. Don’t know what to order? Ask their well-trained mixologist to make a recommendation based on your preferences.
They have themed nights!
Bahrain is teeming with themed nights but not a lot of them offer great ambiance, drinks and entertainment. We suggest you try these at Bo•Sabi:

- Funky Friday: Every Friday, 4PM-9PM, live DJ
