Fifty-two floors up, the city looks different. The water catches the late afternoon light, and Manama spreads out in every direction. This is where The Legacy Bahrain sits, at the top of Bahrain Financial Harbour, and it is the reason a midweek drink at this young spot built for connoisseurs feels elegant and elevated.
On Tuesdays, that setting comes with a reason to stay. From 3:00 pm onwards, The Legacy is running a special that pairs three carefully made martinis with a selection of bites, all for BHD 12. With a view of the island’s iconic downtown and a space that encourages lingering, there is nothing ordinary about a Tuesday anymore.
The Martinis, made with care rather than churned out, and the food that complements them, define this midweek pause. Starting at 3:00 pm means you can arrive early and watch the light change over the city as the afternoon turns into evening. A pianist takes over the vibe later on, making the experience more timeless.

If there’s one reason to visit, it’s the location. Legacy sits on the 52nd floor of Bahrain Financial Harbour Tower East, which makes it the highest restaurant destination in the country. The panoramic views stretch across Manama and out towards the water, and they shift constantly as the day goes on.
Few places in Bahrain offer this kind of vantage point, and on a clear evening, the skyline does most of the work for you. The lights of the Financial Harbour and the coastline below give the room a sense of occasion that no amount of styling could replace. A window seat during the Tuesday special is worth requesting when you book.
The atmosphere is closer to a family dining setting than a formal dining room. The service is attentive without hovering, the lighting is soft, and the pace stays relaxed throughout. Regulars are treated like regulars, and first-timers tend to settle in within minutes.
The piano adds to this. It fills the space without taking over, and it suits the kind of long, easy conversation the Tuesday special is built around.

The Tuesday special is part of a larger setup. Legacy runs three outlets on the same floor, each with its own mood, so you can choose the room to match the evening.
Much of Legacy’s character comes from La Sorella, its Italian restaurant. The name means “The Sister”, and that is exactly what it is: the more elegant sibling of Cico’s in Adliya. Where Cico’s is casual and familiar, La Sorella takes the same warmth and dresses it up a little.
The kitchen serves elevated Italian food with subtle Middle Eastern touches, so the menu feels both familiar and slightly different from what you might expect. With seating for 35, the room stays intimate. Soft lighting, thoughtful detail and that romantic view make it a strong choice for date nights, celebrations or a dinner you simply want to linger over.
An intimate cigar lounge with seating for around 25, The Bar pairs a curated list of signature cocktails, fine wines and premium spirits with the same panoramic view. It is the calmer corner of the floor, and a good spot for a slower drink.
The Cuban Lounge is the lively one. It captures the spirit of Cuba with premium cigars, well-made cocktails and live performances from an authentic Cuban band flown in for the job. The 40-seat space is built for music and conversation in equal measure, and the energy lifts as the evening goes on.
The Tuesday special runs from 3:00 pm, priced at BHD 12 per person. Legacy is on the 52nd floor of Bahrain Financial Harbour Tower East.
Booking is sensible, particularly if you want a good seat by the window. You can reserve on 17111122 or through the venue’s Instagram account, @legacy.bahrain.
