Heavenly Spa by Westin is deep in the heart of central Bahrain. Conveniently located on the third floor of The Westin Bahrain City Center, the Heavenly Spa provides the perfect escape from the arduous of city life. Just recently, we had the chance to experience the spa’s newest promotion, ‘Lavender Desert Dream’.
Starting the 1st of September, Heavenly Spa will be highlighting ‘Lavender Desert Dream’, which includes different packages that are tailor-made to suit a variety of needs. Spa & Recreation Manager Ferdinand Taaca, shared that all treatments are infused with lavender which is a perfect calming remedy for summer’s end.
During our visit, we tried the ‘Butterfly Effect’ – this treatment involves having the antioxidant rich oil massaged into the body for an hour. Lavender oil can benefit the skin in numerous ways and is believed to help promote calmness and wellness. It’s also said to help reduce stress, anxiety, and possibly even mild pain. Sounds perfect for busy bees like ourselves!
Once settled, we were guided to our treatment room. Our relaxing journey commenced with kneading strokes on our tired limbs. The soothing scent of lavender oil filled our room as we embarked on an hour of rest and self-indulgence. Our therapist was well trained and the massage at Heavenly Spa was beyond a simple treatment. It was like a symphony of all things good and calming. After the massage, we were served a warm cup of ginger tea at the relaxation lounge.
