King Fahd Causeway: 51 Great Things About Bahrain

#33 King Fahd Causeway

Established in 1986, the King Fahd Causeway connects Bahrain to Saudi in a series of bridges and causeways. The four-lane road is 25km long and 23.3 metres wide. It is the only access point by land to the Kingdom.

According to figures released by the King Fahd Causeway General Authority, approximately 4.9 million vehicles crossed King Fahd Causeway in 2021.

In addition to strengthening bilateral relations and regional defence, the causeway has helped both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia economically and politically.
