HM King and HRH Crown Prince review Bahrain’s progress

HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, at the Al-Sakhir Palace today.

HM the King reviewed with HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister a number of local issues aimed at serving the kingdom’s progress march and ensuring the interests of the citizens.

King Hamad affirmed that the kingdom continues adopting programmes and plans to attain more national achievements that enhance the kingdom’s pioneering role and progress, as well as meet the aspirations of its citizens for more development and prosperity.

HM King lauded the tremendous national humanitarian efforts HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister is leading to counter the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). He also extended thanks and appreciation to all medical competencies and allied teams for their extraordinary efforts and dedication for the sake of providing health care and protecting the safety and health of the citizens and residents.

HM King stressed that the world has become more optimistic of the near end of the pandemic through the continuity of research to find vaccines, which gives the entire humanity hope for the return of life back to normal, adding that the kingdom is keen to provide the vaccine and make sure that it is available and accessible to all the citizens and residents in a secure and easy way.

HM King commended the level of the efforts and preparations for the organisation of the two Formula One races, in the midst of the exceptional circumstances imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, which reflects the kingdom’s huge potentials to ensure the success of such a major international sports event.
