Bahrain’s animal-loving community is steadily choosing pet adoption, and Hilton Bahrain is playing a big role in driving the momentum. With their latest event, Raise the Woof! – Petworking, the hotel has shown that being pet-friendly goes far beyond simply allowing dogs in lobbies. It’s about building a genuine sense of community.
Held on Saturday, 28 June 2025, the event was no ordinary gathering. Organised in honour of the World Day Against Pet Abandonment, it invited Bahrain’s pet lovers to come together for an evening of socialising with their furry companions.
The goal wasn’t just a fun afternoon out. At its core, the event aimed to raise awareness about animal welfare and responsible pet ownership, while donating part of the entry fee to Bahrain Strays.
Set in the hotel’s open-air lounge, the event buzzed with playful energy. Guests paid BHD 5 for entry, which included a complimentary soft drink and access to a series of interactive activities designed for both pets and their humans.
From a lively round of Pet Parent Bingo with prizes (including a night’s stay at the hotel) to pup-approved treats and games, the atmosphere was friendly, welcoming and full of heart. A live DJ added to the mood, creating a relaxed backdrop for mingling and laughter.
One of the most meaningful parts of the afternoon was the presence of adoptable dogs from Bahrain Strays. Attendees had the chance to meet rescue pups in need of loving homes, adding a compassionate layer to the event.
Hilton Bahrain wasn’t alone in making the event happen. Local pet brands, including Pet Studio, Bubbles & Miche, Bed & Biscuits and VIBES, showed up in full support, helping bring the event’s playful spirit and message of community to life. Their involvement reflected a shared commitment to animal welfare and pet-friendly experiences across Bahrain.
This isn’t Hilton Bahrain’s first time creating memorable moments for pets and their people.
