Northern Governor, Ali bin Al-Shaikh Abdulhussain Al-Asfoor, has stressed the importance of community centres’ adherence to the health guidelines during this Ashoora commemoration season.
The governor highlighted the need for commitment to social distancing outside community centres, commemorating Ashoora in the mourners’ areas and respective community centres, as well as not allowing children, the elderly and people with underlying medical conditions to attend, extending thanks to community centres for their adherence to the Ashoora commemoration regulations, and the citizens for their understanding.
While inspecting a number of community centres, the governor stressed that the religious discourse should focus on marking religious occasions so as to preserve their sanctity and achieve their principles, within the framework of national unity to maintain security, spread tranquility and enrich health awareness.
