September in Bahrain has a rhythm to it. The heat hangs on longer than the calendar suggests it should, but school runs have started again, offices are back to full capacity, and after a slower August, people start looking for reasons to get out again, whether that’s a proper sit-down dinner, a weekend by the pool, or the excuse you needed to finally book that spa appointment. The Gulf Hotel Bahrain has built its September calendar around exactly that shift.
The hotel has lined up a busy month of dining offers, spa treatments, ladies’ nights and a proper daycation package. Whether you’re after a Friday brunch, a spa reset or somewhere new for date night, here’s what’s on.
Ladies’ Nights
Tuesdays are clearly the big day here. The pool opens up for Tuesday Ladies’ Pool Day, with complimentary access if you reserve ahead. At the spa, Tuesday Ladies’ Day brings 25% off treatments and 35% off salon services. At dinner, Tuesday Ladies’ Night knocks 50% off the food bill across all the hotel’s restaurants.
China Garden Liwan runs its own ladies’ night on Tuesdays too, also 50% off food. Wednesdays belong to Doña by Margarita Mexicana at TimeOut Market, where Señoritas Night gets you buy one, get one free on main courses.

A Gulf Hotel Bahrain Daycation, No Suitcase Required
If you fancy a break without leaving Bahrain, the hotel’s daycation package includes a room from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, pool access and BHD 30 in dining vouchers, starting from BHD 60.
Prefer just the pool? Weekday access costs BHD 20, fully redeemable against food and drink, so it isn’t really an extra cost if you’re planning to eat there anyway. Regulars might get more value from a pool membership. Single memberships start at BHD 110 for a month, with couple and family options available across one-, three- and six-month terms.

Dining Highlights This Month
The calendar is full. Margarita Mexicana marks Mexican Independence Day from 16 to 18 September with live tacos, margarita pitchers and a tequila bar, and keeps its Para Picar happy hour running daily except Saturdays, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with tapas and drinks made for sharing.
Sato has two standouts: a one-day-only Sushi Mania on 20 September, with two hours of all-you-can-eat sushi and maki, and a Mid-Week Omakase every Wednesday, a 15-course tasting menu limited to just five to ten guests by reservation.
Al Waha brings back its Seafood Market every Thursday from 17 September, alongside its long-running Friday Family Brunch. Rasoi’s Saturday Splendor Brunch runs every weekend, and its Treat Your Taste Buds menu offers unlimited selected dishes for BHD 13.5 daily through August and September.
China Garden has reopened after a refresh, and Cafe Délice remains the hot spot for breakfast, pastries and coffee throughout the day. At Marassi Galleria, Takht Jamsheed continues to serve Persian classics.

Spa and Salon Offers
September doubles as Healing Month at the hotel’s spa, with a 60-minute massage paired with a manicure and pedicure for BHD 60. The Moroccan Renewal, a steam ritual followed by a lavender massage, costs BHD 80. If it’s your hair and nails that need attention, the Beauty Edit lets you pick any four salon services, from colour to waxing, for BHD 45.

For Football Fans and Evening Drinks
Sherlock Holmes is rewarding loyalty this month. Turn up in your team’s English Premier League jersey on match day, and if they win, you get 25% off. The bar also runs happy hour daily, with selected drinks at BHD 3 net and live music most nights, plus an all-day BHD 3 offer every Sunday. Whisky drinkers should look out for the Single Malt Society’s Glenfiddich flight at The Oak Lounge, running throughout September.
Meetings, Business Lunches and Weddings
For anyone planning, the hotel’s meeting packages start at BHD 16 net per person, including a coffee break and lunch. Business Lunch options span China Garden, Rasoi, Sato and Takht Jamsheed.

Wedding packages at the Al Dana and Awal ballrooms run until 15 September, with per-person pricing depending on the day and room chosen.
