Formula 1 and its governing body, the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) have confirmed a 24-race season, starting in Australia (6–8 March) and finishing in Abu Dhabi (4–6 December). Since Ramadan falls in February and March, the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix have been moved to April – bringing slightly cooler conditions and night-race vibes for fans and drivers.

This also means Bahrain will once again not serve as the season opener, just like in 2025. Whether or not pre-season testing will be hosted at the Bahrain International Circuit is still to be confirmed.
