The Return of Khaimat Al Khaleej at The Gulf Hotel Bahrain

In an island like Bahrain, the sense of community and togetherness is strong and vital to the culture and people. Ramadan, as much as it is a month of reflection and devotion, it’s also a time for communities to spend time together.

One of the biggest locations on the island for social gatherings to happen during the month of Ramadan is the Khaimat Al Khaleej tent. Perched on the grounds of The Gulf Hotel Bahrain, Khaimat al Khaleej (meaning The Gulf Tent) accommodates over 400 guests gathering for Iftar and Ghabga during Ramadan.

An additional buffet tent joins the main dining venue to amplify the spread of food and beverages, featuring a variety of cuisines and live cooking stations.

Khaimat al Khaleej will house a bread oven, live carving and barbecue along with food and delights from Lebanese, Bahraini, Persian, Mediterranean, Indian, Japanese, and Egyptian cuisines every night.

Ramadan favourites such as manakish, local quozi mufata, roasted chicken-sirloin-ribeye, Argentinean grill, teppanyaki, sushi, tempura, shawarma, sheesh kebab, sheesh tawok, jujeh and koobideh kebab are lined up to offer diners a range of delicacies to choose from.

Spend your Ramadan evenings at Khaimat al Khaleej with live music and a traditional ambience reflecting Bahrain’s Ramadan fervour. Iftar at the tent is priced at BD 22 and Ghabga at BD 30 (weekdays) and BD 22 (weekends), subject to taxes. Ladies dine at BD 15 Net per person every Tuesday.
