Eid Al-Adha lands on 27 May this year, and with the holiday running through to 31 May, there is a full stretch of days to fill. The island has plenty lined up. Malls are pulling out festive programmes, from light shows to live music, while family attractions and pop-up events run right across the weekend.

Al Haraka Baraka x Not a Cult Morning Run at Al Liwan

An early Friday start built around movement, energy, and easy company. The Big Bounce Arabia at Exhibition World Bahrain

The world’s largest inflatable theme park lands in Bahrain for the holiday, run in collaboration with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority. Think giant slides and oversized obstacle courses built for kids and grown-ups alike. It’s one of the bigger draws this Eid, and with a run of more than a week, there’s no rush to catch it on day one.

Eid Al-Adha at The Avenues Bahrain

The waterfront mall spreads its Eid programme across several gates, mixing kids’ entertainment with traditional crafts, live music, and plenty of food. Expect character meet-and-greets, caricature artists and balloon twisting, walkabout robots, and the GAME ON grand finale at Electra, alongside oud and classical music, basket weaving, and Arabic calligraphy at The Souk. With food carts running late and hospitality stations dotted around, there’s enough here to fill an entire evening.

Jannat Dilmun’s Eid Al-Adha Celebrations

Jannat Dilmun (formerly the Lost Paradise of Dilmun) hosts a daily entertainment programme throughout Eid, aimed squarely at families. Days are filled with meet-and-greets, dancing characters, stilt walkers, human statues, and carnival shows, while the special lineup includes a festival drum parade, a beachside DJ, a jump-rope circus show, the Bloom Parade, a fire show, and LED stilt walkers. Younger visitors get their own meet-and-greets plus arts and crafts to keep little hands busy.
