Eid Al Adha 2026 Dining in Bahrain: Where to Eat

Bahraincover

Eid Al Adha is just around the corner – three days of the festival towards the end of May this year. Add the compensatory day off, and it’s a proper long weekend Bahrain is about to settle into.

Hotels and restaurants have leaned into the occasion, and the spread this year is broader than most. There are buffets and tents for the long lunches, sharing menus for slower evenings, and, in a welcome shift, a real selection of takeaway feasts, dessert boxes, and gift hampers for households doing the hosting themselves. Here’s what’s on the table.

New stations this year include tawa kebab, fresh pasta, handmade pinsa, and bibimbap. Desserts cover cheese kunafa, Bahraini halwa, Um Ali, and the usual classics.
