Duo arrested for drug-trafficking in Bahrain

Police arrested two men aged 28 and 34 years for allegedly selling narcotic substances worth around 30 thousand dinars in the Kingdom.

The duo, whose names and nationality are withheld, were arrested by Bahrain’s anti-drug squad.

The top cop said police acting on a tip-off received identified the suspects and arrested them. The information, according to police, was on two men engaged in selling drugs in the Kingdom.

Based on the information, officers formed a team and opened an investigation. The investigation resulted in identifying the suspects and arresting them after obtaining a warrant.

The Director-General said police retrieved packs of narcotic substances from them. The public prosecution has taken legal measures.
