Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing showcases the city’s exciting events and festivals!

As part of Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) market visits to proximity markets, a delegation has visited Bahrain at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, to further enhance the participation of the Bahraini market in Dubai’s upcoming events and festivals.

With Dubai being ranked among the most popular destinations for holidaymakers from across the GCC, the delegation briefed media representatives on Dubai’s new tourism product offerings that can enrich Bahraini visitor’s experience. Such as, Global Village, Dubai’s Theme parks, Expo 2020 Dubai, and Dubai Shopping Festival.

Global Village

Global Village, returned for another exciting edition of round-the-world fun. Season 24 of extravaganza run until 4 April 2020. Visitors from Bahrain will have more than 150 days to explore the best from continents near and far, indulge in exotic flavours and enjoy live shows, funfair rides and bargain buys.

Parks and Resorts

Dubai Shopping Festival

Visitors from Bahrain will celebrate an annual celebration of fireworks, concerts, raffles, prizes and the best innovative retail experiences on 26th December 2019 and until 1st February. This year, Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) celebrates its 25th anniversary, promoting to be grander than even before with a calendar packed of established festival favorites and new citywide events plus world0first activations showcasing shopping experiences of the future.  The region’s biggest festival helped demonstrate the breadth of Dubai’s retail offering and position Dubai as one of the cities for shopping globally.

he festival, which established in 1996 as one of the first city-wide shopping festivals in the world, will take over the city, transforming it into a must-visit destination filled with pop-up markets, fashion shows, world-class concerts and events, global brand activations, firework displays, innovative experiences and so much more.
