Out of 11,239 COVID-19 tests carried out yesterday, 632 new cases have been detected among which 77 are expatriate workers, 549 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 6 are travel related. There were 492 recoveries, increasing the total to 52,776.
There are currently 29 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 83 cases receiving treatment. 5,826 cases are stable out of a total of 5,855 active cases.
The Ministry of Health also announced the death of an 84-year-old male citizen, and expresses its condolences to the family of the deceased.
