A Collectors’ Expo is Coming To Bahrain This October: Here’s What We Know So Far

Ask a handful of collectors why they do it, and you’ll get a handful of different answers. For some it’s nostalgia, chasing back the exact Pokémon card or football sticker that slipped away from them at school. For others it’s the thrill of the hunt itself: scrolling through listings at 1:00 am for a coin from a country that no longer exists, or driving across town because someone posted a photo of a comic they’ve been after for three years. Sneakers get bought and never worn. Watches get passed down and never sold. Collecting isn’t really about the object. It’s about the story attached to it, and the small, stubborn satisfaction of finally closing a gap in a set you’ve been building for half your life.

Bahrain’s collector scene is quite a vibrant group – from cars and coins to figurines and sneakers – they span items, generations, and interests. Collect Me Expo is a brand new attempt to bring all of that under one roof for a proper weekend, pulling together traders, sellers and everyday collectors at Crowne Plaza Bahrain. Vendor registration is already open for anyone who wants a table of their own.

When and Where Is Collect Me Expo

Collect Me Expo runs on 2 and 3 October 2026 at Crowne Plaza Bahrain in Manama.

  • Date: 2 and 3 October 2026
  • Venue: Crowne Plaza Bahrain, Manama

What Collectors Can Expect to Find

The categories on offer cover most of what people collect, from serious investment pieces down to things you’d pick up for a couple of dinars just because you liked the look of them. Confirmed so far:

  • Coins and currencies
  • Comics
  • Figures and toys
  • Gaming
  • Mystery boxes
  • Sneakers
  • Trading cards
  • Watches and luxury items

Organisers have called the list open-ended, so more categories may turn up closer to the date. That’s fairly normal for a first edition of anything. Nobody quite knows who’s going to show up, or with what, until the doors actually open and the tables start filling in.

Who’s It For

This isn’t built only for people who can rattle off a full set list from memory. It’s for anyone curious enough to wander in: the collector who’s been chasing one specific piece for years and finally has somewhere local to look, the parent bringing a kid along to see what the trading card fuss is about, or someone who’s never collected anything in their life but likes the idea of browsing tables full of things other people have spent years hunting down.

Vendors and independent creators selling their own work fill out the rest of the room, and that’s usually where the better finds turn up anyway. Talk to enough of them, and you’ll walk out knowing more about grading, condition and rarity than you expected to learn on a Saturday afternoon.

How to Register as a Vendor

If you’ve got collectables, cards, comics, figures, toys or collector-adjacent art sitting around and think someone else might want it, vendor registration for Collect Me Expo is open now. It’s open to serious traders and hobbyists alike, not just established dealers. Organisers say booth spaces are limited, so now’s your time to register.

The event is powered by Siin, a live shopping marketplace connecting sellers and buyers across the Gulf, built around the kind of social commerce this crowd tends to prefer anyway: seeing a piece up close, asking a few questions, and haggling a little before handing over any money. It’s a fitting match for an expo built on exactly that kind of buying and selling, done face to face rather than through a screen.
