Having worked with the restaurant brand during his leadership stint in Doha, Hilton Bahrain’s General Manager, Tamer Farouk, knows exactly what makes CLAW BBQ special. Now, he’s bringing that same energy to his upscale hotel in Juffair.
Since taking the helm at Hilton Bahrain three years ago, Farouk has made it his mission to shake up the island’s dining and hospitality scene.
From Friday brunches that teem with lively weekend revelry to championing sustainability initiatives, he believes that for a hotel to be young in a competitive market doesn’t mean playing it safe.
Now, with the launch of CLAW BBQ, Farouk is ready to break the mould and give his guests an experience that’s out of the ordinary.

I first worked with CLAW BBQ during my time as General Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Doha, and honestly, the reaction from our guests was unforgettable. CLAW BBQ is so much more than a restaurant; it’s a whole experience.
From the Southern hospitality and energetic vibe to the delicious food and drinks, it draws people in. Guests don’t just come to eat; they come to have fun, and that’s what makes CLAW BBQ so special.
When I joined Hilton Bahrain, I immediately thought – this is the perfect home for CLAW BBQ. Our hotel already has a fun and quirky personality, and being in the heart of Juffair, the Kingdom’s entertainment district, we wanted to create something that matches that energy.
CLAW BBQ brings exactly that: it’s lively, it’s different, and it’s designed for people who want to roll up their sleeves, dig in, and really enjoy themselves. Having seen how much people love CLAW BBQ in the UAE and Qatar, I knew it would be a hit here too.
So, I’m genuinely excited that we’ve finally brought it to Bahrain, and I can’t wait for our guests to experience the same CLAW-some vibe that made me fall in love with the brand in the first place.

We’re now entering one of the busiest and most exciting periods at Hilton Bahrain, with a host of new experiences lined up for our guests. First up is the relaunch of our Pan Asian Night every Wednesday.
We’ve completely revamped this special to include authentic Asian favourites – from the famous Filipino dessert halo-halo, to Chinese dim sum, Japanese mochi ice cream, and so much more – all paired with the perfect entertainment and karaoke to bring the experience to life.
The festive season is also just around the corner, and we’re thrilled for the celebrations ahead. We’ll soon be announcing our festive offers, so I encourage everyone to keep an eye out – they’re going to be very special. Of course, we’re already planning for Ramadan.
After the success of The Dome, we have the exciting challenge of exceeding that experience with something even more memorable this year. A lot is happening at Hilton Bahrain over the next 6-12 months, and I can promise our guests that it will be fun, engaging, and full of unforgettable moments.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned over the past three years is that nothing is impossible. Despite being a relatively young hotel in a highly competitive market, Hilton Bahrain has truly made its mark. We’ve challenged norms with creative offerings, innovative collaborations, and strong sustainability initiatives, all while establishing a reputation for being fun, unique, and memorable.
Like with our Friday Brunch, it’s now recognised as the standard for fun, lively brunch experiences in Bahrain. I always tell my team to dream high – dream like the skies are ours – because that’s how you create something truly new and extraordinary. This is just the beginning.
