Children aged 3-17 can now register for a COVID-19 vaccine

The Ministry of Health announced the opening of registration for the Sinopharm vaccine for immunocompromised children aged 3-11 years, as well as for all children between 12-17 years.

Registration can be done through the Ministry of Health’s website.

The Ministry of Health explained that the diseases that cause weak immunity are: respiratory diseases, heart diseases, diabetes, cancerous tumors, Down syndrome, birth defects, and obesity.

The Ministry of Health noted that registration requires the consent of a legal guardian. The children must also have an adult accompanying them when taking the vaccination.
