Bahrain Confidential’s Best Restaurants Awards 2024 was an eventful celebration of the island’s vibrant dining scene. Held in partnership with Genesis (First Motors), House of Uniforms, Nespresso, The Gulf Hotel Bahrain, Gulf Brands International, and Red Scarf, the gala ceremony brought together hospitality leaders, culinary experts, and special guests to honour the best in Bahrain’s food industry.

Nicholas Cooksey, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Bahrain Confidential, explained the transparent voting process that makes these awards unique. A panel of 96 judges—hospitality leaders, trusted food influencers, and industry experts—voted for their five favourite restaurants. Their choices determined the list of Bahrain’s 40 Best Restaurants. To ensure complete fairness, neither Bahrain Confidential nor its partners influenced the results.

For the second year, the public also had a say. Diners across the island voted for their favorites, creating a separate list of the 10 Best Restaurants in Bahrain. This addition gave the awards a community-driven touch, celebrating the places that diners love most.

The event highlighted the incredible talent and hard work behind Bahrain’s thriving dining scene. From fine dining spots to hidden gems, the awards celebrated the chefs, teams, and establishments that make Bahrain a culinary hotspot.

The prestigious Awards cemented Bahrain Confidential’s role in supporting and showcasing the island’s food culture. It was a true celebration of the passion and excellence that define Bahrain’s dining experiences.
