Lunch breaks have become an increasingly precious respite for us and more often than not, an incredible lunch can put a smile on our faces for the rest of the day. Whether in a meeting or on a relaxing lunch break, delight in a tasty Mediterranean Business lunch amidst the busy Seef district.
Brasserie Royale at Jumeirah Royal Saray, offers a 3-course menu with delicious options to choose from. Highlighting two options, the Business Lunch menu takes inspiration from the North and South of Italy. What’s even more thrilling was that the dishes were created by the hotel’s new executive chef, who hails from Italy. The Mediterranean experience can’t get any more authentic than that.
We tried both the North and South Italian menu during our visit and the dishes were nothing short of fantastic. Our favourites from the North menu include the ‘Deep Fried Buffalo Mozzarella Salad’, and both of the mains. The ‘Homemade Ricotta & Spinach Ravioli’ with butter emulsion, sage and parmesan cheese took us away with every delicious bite! From the South, we loved the ‘Sicilian Style Pappardelle Pasta’; but the star of the afternoon was the refreshingly light and perfectly seasoned ‘Grilled Prawns & Mediterranean Salad’!
The dessert options for both menus include ‘Mango & Strawberry ‘Nice Cream’, Seasonal Fruit Platter or your choice of pastry from the counter. The homemade ‘nice cream’ was a pleasant surprise and a sweet ending for a satisfying culinary experience.
We indulged in the dishes course after course without hesitation, while admiring the beguiling ambiance of Brasserie Royale. Overall, the food was delicious in flavour as it is delightful in presentation. The lunch is priced at BD15 net per person and is available every Sunday to Thursday, from 12 noon to 3:00 pm.
