Bahrain’s brunch scene isn’t short on options, and it’s safe to say we’re spoilt for choice. From party brunches to five-star buffets, the formula is familiar. But every so often, a new one comes along that shakes things up just enough. The WILD Brunch at Sheraton Bahrain Hotel is one such addition—and after visiting it ourselves, we can say it’s worth checking out.
Set inside the newly renovated Sheraton, the WILD Brunch offers a relaxed but stylish way to ease into your weekend, with good food, great service, and an atmosphere that doesn’t try too hard.
The first thing you’ll notice when you walk into the newly renovated Sheraton Bahrain Hotel is just how much brighter and more open the space feels. Long-anticipated on the island, the hotel’s transformation is striking, contemporary, and inviting. Natural light floods the interiors, creating a warm atmosphere. The new Sheraton is completely different from the one we knew.
At WILD, we found ourselves in a space that’s minimalist and yet extremely welcoming, with clean lines, natural textures, and plenty of greenery. There’s even a dedicated microgreens unit by the kitchen, used in dishes served at brunch—a thoughtful detail that reflects the restaurant’s emphasis on freshness and sustainability. With ample room between tables and soft lighting throughout, it’s a calm, well-designed setting for a relaxed Friday afternoon.
Unlike most brunches that go down the buffet route, WILD sticks to an à la carte menu with dishes meant to be shared. Each dish we tried came out fresh, plated nicely, and—most importantly—tasted good.
From starters to mains, the food felt considered. It’s not trying to be overly experimental, but there’s attention to detail, and the ingredients speak for themselves. Nothing felt heavy or rushed. The pace of service was just right too—enough time to relax between courses without feeling forgotten.
For those who enjoy a drink with brunch, there are multiple packages. Our drinks were topped up regularly, and the staff were consistently attentive throughout.
There’s a clear effort to create an experience that feels social but not overwhelming. A live musician was performing during our visit, giving the space a lift without being intrusive. The sound levels were just right—you could still have a conversation without raising your voice.
We stayed indoors for most of the afternoon but stepped outside briefly later in the day to enjoy a bit of sunshine. The outdoor seating near the pool is a nice option when the weather allows. It adds a touch of brightness to the experience if you feel like stretching your legs or soaking up some sun (weather permitting).
The WILD Brunch at Sheraton Bahrain stands out among the top brunches on the island. It’s clearly designed for people who enjoy good food and good company without the usual noise.
The food is fresh and enjoyable, the service is attentive, and the setting is modern and comfortable. It might not be the most extravagant brunch on the island, but it delivers exactly what it sets out to—an easygoing Friday with thoughtful details and a solid dining experience.
If you’re looking for something different but still polished, WILD is a welcome addition to the brunch lineup.
