British Airways is making it easier than ever to fly between the Middle East and the UK, with a major boost to flights from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Abu Dhabi starting this October.
The expanded schedule, running through to summer 2026, is great news for travellers in the region, whether you’re heading to London for business, visiting family, or planning a holiday.
Bahrain gets daily flights
From 27 October 2025, British Airways will fly daily from Bahrain to London Heathrow, more than doubling its weekly services. That’s over 9,000 extra seats on the route, giving you much more flexibility when booking your trip.

Riyadh will see 12 weekly flights to London this winter, increasing to 14 per week from summer 2026. Meanwhile, Jeddah is also getting a boost, moving from four to five flights per week next summer.
Abu Dhabi goes daily too
British Airways will operate a daily service between Abu Dhabi and London starting this winter, offering even more choice for travellers in the UAE.
The additional flights are timed to give you smooth connections through London Heathrow to more than 200 destinations worldwide. So whether you’re continuing on to New York, heading to Edinburgh, or exploring Europe, your journey just got easier.
On selected Middle East routes, you’ll find a four-cabin layout including First, Club World (business class), World Traveller Plus (premium economy), and World Traveller (economy). Arabic-speaking cabin crew are available on flights from Riyadh, Jeddah, and Bahrain, making your journey more comfortable and personalised.
