Your Guide to Pinktober Initiatives in Bahrain (2025)

Bahraincover

October turns pink around the world, and Bahrain is no exception. Breast Cancer Awareness Month, affectionately known as Pinktober, is a time to shine a spotlight on one of the most common cancers affecting women globally.

Early detection saves lives; it’s as simple as that. Regular screenings and self-examinations can catch breast cancer in its earliest, most treatable stages, significantly improving survival rates. This month isn’t just about wearing pink ribbons; it’s about taking action, supporting research, and standing in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer.

Participating in Pinktober initiatives does more than raise funds for vital research and support services. It creates a community of awareness, breaking down the stigma around breast cancer and encouraging open conversations about health.

Whether you’re attending a fitness class, bidding on luxury items, or simply enjoying afternoon tea, your involvement matters. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps fund screenings for those who can’t afford them, supports patients through their treatment journey, and advances research towards better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

Enma Mall

Rev your engines for a cause. Bahrain Riders Club is leading the Pink Ride on 24 October from 9 AM, spreading hope and solidarity throughout the community on two wheels. The following day, 25 October, Enma Mall hosts a Classic Bikes Display starting at 9 AM. It’s a celebration of Pinktober with a distinctly Bahraini flavour, bringing together the riding community for a cause that affects us all.

InterContinental Bahrain

Every Thursday to Saturday from 2 PM to 7 PM, the InterContinental Bahrain is serving Pink Afternoon Tea, featuring pink-inspired savouries and pastries at BD 8.5 net per guest. Twenty per cent of proceeds support the Think Pink Breast Cancer Society. It’s an afternoon of indulgence that gives back, proving that supporting a worthy cause can be both meaningful and delightful.

Sometimes the most powerful support you can offer is to yourself. Royal Bahrain Hospital is offering three packages that include consultation, mammograms, and ultrasounds. As their journey of breast cancer awareness and prevention begins this October, there’s no better time to prioritise your health and book a screening.

The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain

The Ritz-Carlton is pulling out all the stops this October with a luxury auction that combines fashion and philanthropy. Noon By Noor is presenting five exclusive clothing items for a silent auction, with all proceeds going to charity alongside contributions from the hotel’s stellar restaurant lineup. Cantina Kahlo, Thai Lounge, La Plage, Ritz Gourmet Lounge, Lobby Lounge, Nirvana, Plums, and Primavera are all joining forces to make a meaningful impact. It’s the perfect opportunity to treat yourself while supporting an essential cause.
