Bentley has raised the curtain on the fourth-generation Flying Spur, now the brand’s most powerful sedan ever. The all-new Flying Spur combines luxury and performance, offering a unique driving experience with its first four-door supercar.
The highlight of the new Flying Spur is its “Ultra Performance Hybrid” powertrain, making it Bentley’s first-ever four-door supercar. The combination of a 600 PS 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine and a 190 PS electric motor delivers a total of 782 PS and 1000 Nm of torque. This powerful setup allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds, making it half a second faster than the previous model.
The electric motor also allows for zero-emission driving for up to 76 km, making it ideal for city use. Together, the V8 and E-motor provide the new Flying Spur with a total range of 829 km.
The Flying Spur’s exterior has been refreshed with a new grille, bumper, diffuser, and 22-inch wheels. Inside, Bentley introduces a host of luxurious updates, including new quilt patterns on the seats and diamond hide on the doors. The car also offers wellness features such as Postural Adjust and Seat Auto Climate, ensuring maximum comfort for all passengers.
The introduction of a new electrical architecture enables a seamless integration of cutting-edge technology. The “My Bentley App Studio” allows drivers to access popular apps directly from the car’s infotainment system, enhancing convenience and connectivity on the road.
Bentley’s commitment to sustainability is evident in the Flying Spur’s reduced CO2 emissions, which are 90% lower than the outgoing model. The 25.9 kWh battery provides a usable electric-only range and can be fully charged in just 2¾ hours. The car’s hybrid powertrain efficiently manages energy flows, offering a perfect balance between performance and sustainability.
Inside, the Flying Spur is all about craftsmanship and personalisation. Bentley offers an extensive range of customization options, including 101 exterior paint colours, 700 leather combinations, and 11 secondary shades. Customers can even choose bespoke features through Bentley’s Mulliner division.
For audiophiles, three different sound systems are available, including a top-of-the-line Naim system with 2,200 W and 19 speakers. Laminated acoustic glass further enhances the quiet, luxurious experience inside the cabin.
To mark the launch of the new Flying Spur, Bentley released a film featuring former F1 champion Damon Hill and rising star Lia Block. The dynamic display on the track highlights the car’s incredible capabilities, underscoring its status as a true four-door supercar.
With its blend of performance, luxury, and sustainability, the new Bentley Flying Spur is a remarkable addition to Bentley’s lineup and sets a new standard for what a luxury sedan can achieve.
