Bahrain’s Best Restaurants Awards 2025

Bahrain Confidential celebrates the island’s culinary talent through Bahrain’s Best Restaurants Awards. First launched in 2019, the platform has grown into the ultimate dining guide, spotlighting the top restaurants as chosen by a panel of judges and the public.

How are the Best Restaurants Selected?

Unlike most awards where categories and criteria are set by organisers, Bahrain’s Best Restaurants Awards is designed to be completely authentic and unbiased. We don’t decide the winners – YOU DO.

Here’s how it works. The Best Restaurants are decided through two means: The Judges’ Votes and The Public Vote. This is how each of them works:

• The Judges’ Vote: Leaders from Bahrain’s hospitality industry – including General Managers and senior executives from five-star and leading four-star hotels – along with hospitality experts, food bloggers, and a select few members of the community, are invited to join a panel of judges. Each judge lists their five favourite restaurants in Bahrain. No categories, no rankings, no restrictions – except one: judges cannot vote for restaurants connected to their own brands or hotels.

• The Public Vote: This is where you come in! Diners across the island, through our online portal, can vote for up to three favourite restaurants. If your restaurant isn’t listed, you can still add your vote by choosing the “Others” option at the bottom of the list and typing in your vote. It’s your chance to make sure your go-to dining spot gets the recognition it deserves.

By combining two perspectives – the expertise of industry leaders and the public’s opinion – we’ve strived to make Bahrain’s Best Restaurants Awards truly honour the island’s diverse and incredible dining landscape. No member of Bahrain Confidential has control or influence over the votes.

It’s a format unlike anything else in the Kingdom; one that keeps the process transparent, inclusive, and genuine.

Why Does This Matter?

Bahrain’s Best Restaurants Awards 2025 recognises those establishments and the passionate people behind them. Every restaurant, regardless of its category or price point, is on equal footing. The voting process is simple, and the recognition is based on authentic experiences.

When are the Winners Revealed?

Winners of the Judges’ Votes will be revealed in Bahrain Confidential’s October special edition, featuring the island’s best restaurants, voices from the F&B space, and stories of success from the hospitality sector.

All winners of the 2025 awards – both Judges’ Vote and Public Vote – will be felicitated at our gala ceremony this December, where the island’s Hospitality and F&B community comes together to celebrate, connect, and, of course, feast.
