Autumn has officially arrived. With the equinox behind us, the heat is finally easing, the evenings are cooling off, and spending time outdoors in Bahrain is starting to feel like a pleasure again rather than an endurance test. It also marks the start of the fun quarter, when the island’s events calendar fills up fast. This weekend gives a good early taste of what’s coming.

Chuseok Cultural Festival 2026 at Bahrain Mall
A free evening dedicated to Korea’s traditional harvest festival, with plenty on offer for the whole family. Chuseok brings together traditional games, calligraphy, crafts, Korean food and products, a hanbok photo zone, and a run of performances including a K-pop competition and a HoiJeonMooSool demo.
