In a press conference held by the Ministry of Health, officials stressed the importance of health workers adhering to the infection control rules issued by the World Health Organization, with all health workers being informed of the epidemiological situation globally, regionally and locally.
Preventive measures have been taken by implementing engineering procedures related to workplace safety such as providing a separate entrance for health workers, separate health facilities, and separate rooms.
Personal protective equipment and protective tools have been provided to ensure that health workers receive the highest levels of protection to prevent virus transmission through contact with cases.
The Ministry confirmed that the health and safety of all medical teams is a priority for the Ministry of Health.
Officials also invited everyone to the obligation to commit to a responsibility to protect frontliners.
