Bahrain reports 127 new COVID-19 cases and 107 recoveries

Out of 13,258 COVID-19 tests carried out on 18 August 2021, 127 new cases have been detected among 40 expats, 66 contacts of active cases, and 21 travellers.

There were 107 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 268,737.


One death was recorded, raising the Kingdom’s deathtoll to 1,385.

There are currently five cases in critical condition and six receiving treatment. Out of a total of 1,135 active cases, 1,130 are stable.
