Bahrain records 507 cases from 9,735 tests yesterday

Out of 9,735 COVID-19 tests carried out yesterday, 507 new cases have been detected among 140 expatriate workers, 352 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 15 are travel related. There were 629 recoveries from COVID19, increasing total recoveries to 66,813.


The Ministry also announced the death of three male citizens of ages 48, 90 and 81 years, and expresses its condolences to the families of the deceased.

There are currently 56 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 113 cases receiving treatment. 5,183 cases are stable out of a total of 5,239 active cases.
