Out of 13,373 COVID-19 tests carried out on 5 June 2021, 1,432 new cases have been detected among 567 expats and 865 contacts of active cases.
There were 3,651 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 225,159.
Twenty-two deaths were recorded, bringing the total death toll to 1,091. No information was provided on the ages of those who died or if they suffered any pre-existing medical conditions.
There are currently 337 cases in critical condition and 439 receiving treatment. 22,995 are stable out of a total of 23,332 active cases.
