Bahrain records 1,367 new coronavirus cases yesterday!

Out of 17,701 COVID-19 tests carried out on 6 May 2021, 1367 new cases have been detected among 515 expatriate workers, 838 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 14 travel related. There were 1120 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 172,006.

Five Bahrainis, four men, aged 85, 32, 45 and 81, and a woman, 62, as well as an expat woman, 46, died yesterday, taking the death toll to 670.


There are currently 101 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 210 cases receiving treatment. 11,920 are stable out of a total of 12,021 active cases.
