Bahrain holds a Contest to Lower Mobile Usage while Driving

The General Directorate of Traffic has launched an awareness competition to limit the use of mobile phones while driving. The contest covers media, designing and arts with prizes worth BD3000 for 20 winners.

The competition focuses on the risks of handheld mobile while driving and has four categories; best awareness video, best graphic design, best paintings and best awareness logo. The entries were submitted before 25 February 2020 to the Traffic Culture Directorate or the email trafficweekbh@gmail.com.

n the best video categories, the first prize is BD1000 and the second is BD600. The length of the video should be one minute and should be new and free from violent content. The prize of the logo is BD150, and it should contain no more than 4 Arabic words that serve the purpose of the competition.

The prize of the best graphic design category is BD400 for the first winner and BD200 for the second winner. The design should be new, serve the purpose of the competition and free from violent content.

To promote arts, 15 prizes of BD50 each has been allocated for winners of the age groups 3-5, 6-11 and 12-18, and any painting that serves the purpose of the competition, free from violent content are accepted.
