Bahrain’s total COVID-19 infections have jumped to 76,272 after the country recorded another 324 new cases in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced.
Out of 10,399 COVID-19 tests carried out yesterday, 324 new cases have been detected among which 92 are expatriate workers, 229 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 3 are travel related. There were 477 recoveries from the virus, increasing total recoveries to 72,164.
There are currently 52 cases in a critical condition, and 87 cases receiving treatment. 3,771 cases are stable out of a total of 3,823 active cases. The Ministry also announced the death of 5 citizens on Tuesday.
