This June, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) invites residents and visitors to step into a series of immersive workshops celebrating Bahrain culture and the island’s rich craft heritage – from age-old vocations to creative experiences shaped by modern technology.
Hosted across Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre and the House of Basket Weaving, these sessions are designed not just to be observed, but lived. You will sit beside practising artisans, handle the raw materials, and learn how generations before us transformed simple, everyday items into objects of beauty and meaning.
