Bahrain completes COVID-19 vaccine trials with 7,700 volunteers!

Bahrain has completed administrating additional 1,700 vaccine trials to reach the desired goal of 7,700 volunteers.

The additional 1,700 slots were announced after achieving the desired goal of 6,000 volunteers in September.

HE Faeeqa bint Saeed Al-Saleh, Minister of Health, said that the Kingdom of Bahrain has achieved a new achievement by completing the scheduled phase. The Minister affirmed that Bahrain is proud of its people who took the initiative to volunteer for humanity.

Bahrain announced its participation in the third phase of clinical trials in August, and today, efforts were made to reach 7,700 participants.

Volunteers must receive the second dose 3 weeks after the first dose, and they will be followed up by the medical team for 12 months.
