Bahrain recorded 1,147 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, alongside 1,400 recoveries and six fatalities.
Out of 15,578 COVID-19 tests carried out, 1147 new cases have been detected among 483 expatriate workers, 642 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 22 are travel-related. There were 1400 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 163,937.
Five Bahrainis – two men (61, 87) and three women (56, 58, 79, ) as well as a 33-year-old expatriate man, died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 632.
There are currently 104 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 211 cases receiving treatment. 10,022 are stable out of a total of 10,126 active cases.
