Renowned for its French Mediterranean cuisine, Bagatelle has been revolutionising the hospitality industry for over a decade. The group appointed French chef Rocco Seminara as its Corporate Executive chef to inspire a new culinary experience across its restaurants internationally. Bagatelles signature style of understated luxury features throughout Bagatelle Bahrain, its trademark blue aesthetic and touches of warm golden tones combined with the locations beautiful views over the Arabian Gulf make this a dining destination second to none.
In addition the spacious balcony seating area overlooks the grounds of The Royal Sarray Resort, a traditional Middle Eastern scattering of palm trees and ocean creating a truly idyllic dining destination to watch the sun go down.
The menu conceived by Rocco Seminara features classic dishes from the Bagatelle menu, including the ‘Salade Bagatelle’ and ‘Pizza la truffe’, bringing a unique dining experience to Bahrain with a touch of vibrant nightlife too. Rocco Seminara, Corporate Executive Chef at Bagatelle
Born in Provence, Rocco Seminara celebrates the flavours of Mediterranean cuisine by working with exceptional products. He made a name for himself working alongside Christian Willer at the Hôtel Martinez in Cannes, and then at the Hôtel de Paris in Monte-Carlo alongside Franck Cerruti and Alain Ducasse. Winner of the prestigious Neptune prize in 2016, awarded by the globally renowned chef Joël Robuchon, he joined the Bagatelle Monte-Carlo kitchen the following year. In 2018, Rocco Seminara was named the Executive Chef of the famous Tropezian Hôtel Byblos where he served before re-joining Bagatelle as Corporate Executive Chef in 2021.
Iginio Cortello, Executive Chef at Bagatelle Bahrain
Chef Iginio was born in the heart of the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, where his Mediterranean culinary passion began. Iginio became a member of the Italian Chef of the world Organisation, where he is recognised as a Master Chef by the Italian Academic Barilla. His successes within the Mediterranean culinary field stretch across the globe, working in New York, London, Qatar, Bahrain and Dubai. Iginio’s contemporary style and passion for his craft will be brought to Bagatelle Bahrain in an exciting launch for Bagatelle’s newest restaurant.
