Avoid Gatherings: 1,816 new cases recorded in Bahrain

Out of 15,745 COVID-19 tests carried out yesterday, 1816 new cases have been detected in Bahrain. Of these, 725 were expatriate workers, 1079 were contacts of active cases, and 12 were travel-related.

There were 1,500 recoveries, increasing total to 179,958.


There are currently 166 cases in a critical condition, and 252 cases receiving treatment. 15,266 are stable out of a total of 15,432 active cases.

The ministry also announced 10 deaths in the past 24 hours. No information was provided if they suffered any pre-existing conditions.
