The Avenues-Bahrain is the first commercial and entertainment mall of its kind in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the only waterfront shopping and leisure destination with a unique seafront location extending 1.5 km. It is strategically located in the heart of Manama, opposite Bahrain Bay Development along King Faisal Road.
Shopping malls and retail complexes have usually been dark and cave-like spaces that don’t allow for much natural light and closed out. Almost giving an unnatural feel. However, the development brings unique architecture with a new concept to the Kingdom, with a design inspired by The Avenues Kuwait, giving visitors an outdoor feeling while remaining indoors, protected from the heat by a ceiling that allows sunlight to flood in. The waterfront boardwalk overlooking the bay runs along the façade of the building which houses F&B outlets and offer external seating decks with a panoramic view of the bay. The project’s leasing space is around 40,000 sqm and includes 130 stores of which 50% are allocated for restaurants and cafes which will overlook Bahrain Bay.
