You know those Wednesday nights when you can’t quite decide what you fancy for dinner? Hilton Bahrain might have just sorted that out for you. They’ve brought back their Pan Asian Night, and from the sounds of it, they’ve given it a proper makeover.
Every Wednesday from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, the hotel is putting on what they’re calling a food journey across Asia. It’s a buffet setup, but not the usual grab-and-go affair you might be thinking of.
“Our chefs have carefully crafted the Pan Asian Night menu so it’s enjoyable not just for the Asian community, but for anyone who loves bold and exciting flavours. For everyone who loves to sing, we have karaoke during Pan Asian Night from 8:00 pm,” said Tamer Farouk, General Manager, Hilton Bahrain.
The place gets a complete transformation for the night. They’ve shipped in actual décor from Southeast Asia, so you’re not just eating Asian food in a generic hotel dining room. Everyone gets a fortune cookie when they arrive, which is a nice touch that sets the tone.
It’s no secret that Hilton Bahrain throws one of the best buffet dinners in Bahrain, including their Thursday Seafood Nights. The Wednesday affair is another dining special that brings great flavours and vibes to your weekday dining experience.
The real draw seems to be the live cooking stations scattered around the night buffet. You can watch chefs putting together Peking Duck Pancakes, making fresh Vietnamese Banh Mi to order, working the teppanyaki grills for stir-fries, or preparing Filipino Halo-Halo. It’s the kind of setup where the cooking becomes part of the entertainment.
From 8:00 pm onwards, they set up karaoke for anyone who fancies having a go. Whether that’s your idea of fun or your worst nightmare probably depends on how the evening’s going and who else turns up.
It’s BHD 26 for the evening, and that covers your soft drinks as well. If you want to give it a go, you can book through their website at bahrain.hilton.com or call +973 3369 2013.
Whether it becomes your new Wednesday routine or just scratches that itch for something different, it’s certainly more interesting than your usual midweek dinner options.
