Alosra Supermarket is taking its neighbourhood presence up a notch with the launch of 10 new Alosra On The Go stores dotted across Bapco Energies service stations in Bahrain.
This expansion from six to 16 locations within a year is part of its ongoing mission, telling customers they’re Always With You. It signals the local retailer’s move into more accessible spaces, especially for customers on the move. The project is part of a broader partnership with Bapco Energies and its subsidiary, Bapco Tazweed, aimed at rethinking the everyday pit stop.
Rather than a standard convenience store, Alosra On The Go is designed to offer a more curated experience, mixing grocery essentials with a fresh café-style menu under a new brand: Artisan. Born out of this initiative, Artisan puts the spotlight on fresh, healthy food and drink options, adding a bit more flavour to the usual grab-and-go fare.
Locations already open include service stations in the Diplomatic Area, Diyar Al Muharraq, Hidd and Isa Town, with more to come. Each spot offers a compact version of Alosra’s usual line-up: select imported goods, daily basics, and its signature bakery range, alongside the Artisan café counter.
“We are proud to partner with Bapco Energies and its subsidiary, Bapco Tazweed, on this exciting venture,” said Ayachi Jomaa, the Head of Alosra, during the opening ceremony in the Diplomatic Area service station. “Together, we are redefining the convenience experience by merging the quality and care Alosra is known for with the accessibility and efficiency needed in today’s fast-paced world. With Alosra On The Go, we are not just closer to our customers, we are truly always with you.”

“This partnership is part of our ongoing efforts to reimagine the service station experience and deliver added value to our customers across Bahrain,” said Basema Al Mahroos, Chief Executive Officer of Bapco Tazweed. “By partnering with Alosra, we are creating welcoming spaces that reflect our shared values of innovation and excellence.”
By weaving in convenience with quality, Alosra’s latest move reflects the evolving retail scene in Bahrain—where even quick stops are getting a bit more considered.
