Bahrain’s breathtaking concert venue, Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre, has been shortlisted for the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Middle East Awards 2025. This marks a significant international recognition of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s architectural distinction and cultural identity, according to TradeArabia News Service.
The open-air venue, designed by S/L Architects, has been recognised by RIBA for its innovative design and how well it merges with Sakhir’s desert landscape.
The RIBA Awards are one of the most prestigious honours in architecture, celebrating projects that show excellent design and positive impact on communities. Winners will be announced on 7 November during Dubai Design Week.

The 10,000-seat amphitheatre in Sakhir has quickly become a landmark and a world-class venue for live entertainment. It’s known for hosting iconic performances that feature A-list regional and international artists.
The shortlisting highlights Bahrain’s growing influence in regional architecture and shows the Kingdom can deliver innovative projects that connect with audiences worldwide.
