1. Attend the 28th Annual Bahrain Heritage Festival

Like every year, Bahrain brings you an annual Heritage festival including a variety of fun and informative events. The festival will take place in the Heritage Village at Arad Fort, during the following days and timing: 14-16 April from 9:00 PM-12:00 AM.

This year, the festival will highlight gold as a Bahraini intangible heritage, with the title “Our Golden Heritage”. Each year the festival explores aspects of Bahraini folklore related to the local cultural components, and discusses one of the main topics that affect the human heritage of the island, carrying various programs of handicrafts, educational workshops, traditional storytelling, art exhivitions, live folk arts performances. 

2. Check out Manama & Gold

Head to the gold merchants in Souq Al Manama to witness the craftsmanship that Bahrain is famous for.

You can also enjoy a couple of events happening in line with the theme.

3. Share stories, art, and tea at the Raven’s Nest

This event is a simple concept of sharing and creating over a cup of tea. The Raven’s Nest aims to create a space for people who do not know each other to share stories and memories revolving around a specific topic, while sipping tea and creating abstract art pieces which you can take home with you. 

4. Celebrate Gergaoon at Juffair Square 

The event is happening on the 15th of April, from 8pm to 12 am. What does this event have to offer? Well, it welcomes you to take pleasure in myriads of activities and events such as live performances, colouring stations, 360-degree video booth, face painting, traditional sweets, scrumptious food and much more!
