What motivates you to get up in the morning?
The excitement to create or discover something new motivates me for a new morning, every day. It necessarily not only adheres to my artworks but may be a new recipe I try or a new movie I watch. Even trying out a new medium or technique in my art motivates me too.
There are a lot of mediums to paint on, why nail art?
I am a painter and mediums keep changing depending on my mood and liking, like from the proper big canvas to my very own nails! I love to create art on the nails which is both challenging and fun.
What does art mean to you?
Art is the stillness amidst chaos for me. It is the constant factor that makes everything in this world both interesting and attractive. The idea of presenting a concept uniquely by expressing oneself is art to me. Art is therapeutic too, I feel.

What is the difference between painting on canvas/paper and painting on nails?
Nail art is challenging yet fun as the tiny canvases like nails need precision details to bring out the best of nail arts which involves fair amount of time and focus.
Which part of Bahrain is your favourite and why?
It is in 2012 after moving to Bahrain I began my journey into arts. I have found inspiration from life around me here including the many must visit places like the beaches and tree of life. Old parts of Bahrain intrigue me too for the local people and their culture. I like to capture the many moods of this island in my paintings and it is here I found solace in my art.
