Bahrain Confidential puts Fouz Al Fahad on the hot seat…

When it comes to anything beauty-related, she surely knows what she’s talking about. From professional makeup artists to amateur reviewing drugstore brands on camera, Fouz Al Fahad is one of the most powerful influencers in the world of beauty. She is also one of the most recognised faces in the Middle East. With over 1.8 million followers on Insragram, Fouz is one of the region’s major beauty influencers, taking the social media world by storm.

Born in Kuwait, influencer and businesswoman Fouz grew up between London and the Middle East. She graduated from the British School of Kuwait and majored in Finance at the Gulf University School of Technology, where she had the goal of teaching in university. She started working at a university to pursue that career before social media. In 2014, she partnered with Kuwaiti Youtube channel TvBelMokhba to start posting makeup tutorials. Currently, she uses her Instagram account to keep her fans on their toes with all her latest beauty and lifestyle tips and tricks.

Always want to steal Fouz’s style? Well, things just got easier because she teamed up with 10 global influencers (international beauty gurus and bloggers) on a new 10-piece lipstick range for MAC Cosmetics. This is the first time MAC has turned to an international network of influencers.

What is your must-have beauty staple that is always in your handbag? Why?

I always carry with me a lip moisturiser to avoid chapped lips, especially during the summer.

Did you have a business plan as far as your social media following was concerned?
