Sheikha Dana Al Khalifa Walks The Runway For Dolce & Gabbana In Milan

Founder of The Overdressed and Saudi-based fashion personality was tapped by the Italian fashion house for their spring/summer 2019 show

Fashion month so far has brought together a crowd unlike any the industry has seen before: people from all walks of life taking to the runways and front rows to appreciate the work from top designers. Dolce & Gabbana’s spring/summer 2019 show in Milan was no exception, with a star-studded cast including the fabulous 70-year-old Maye Musk, plus-sized model Ashley Graham, and musician Jessica Jung (and Cardi B was front and centre to watch!). Representing the Middle East was Dana Al Khalifa, who as founder of The Overdressed and overall fashion favorite was a natural fixture on the runway.

In an all-red ensemble, looking fiery from the flower in her hair to the heels on her feel, Al Khalifa’s D&G floral look was one of a massive 151-piece collection. Her hair was inspired by Lauren Bacall’s glamorous waves and her make-up was kept mostly natural, with an emphatic red lip to complete the look.

She captured preparation for the show on Insta Stories, taking selfies alongside her model mates including Mexican actress Michelle Sala and American model Corinne Foxx. Look onward for some of our favourite moments from her stories.
