Movenpick’s Friday Brunch is Building on a Great Reputation

Bahrain Confidential tries the Movenpick Hotel’s ‘construction-themed’ Friday brunch!

Deciding on the right time for refurbishment is a challenging decision for any establishment, though when this work is within a Five Star hotel and is focussed on the main atrium, restaurant and bar areas, the decision becomes of nightmare proportions! How do you manage this?

The Movenpick Bahrain has embraced the process with a smile and a goal to deliver even higher standards throughout the redevelopment.

The Construction Brunch is, at its name implies, a humorously themed take on their renowned Friday Brunch, which now takes place in the main ballroom. A long-established favourite for Bahrain based ‘Brunchers’ the quality and selection of food presented for this culinary experience is renowned and we were very impressed to find that the quality of the fare presented is as good as it ever was. What has changed dramatically is the presentation of the food, within scaffolding like structures and wheelbarrows all served and attended to by the Movenpick staff in their Hard Hats and Hi-Vis jackets; simply brilliant!

As an enticement to their clientele the Brunch has been extended by an hour, running from 12:30 to 5pm now, to make up for the temporary change of venue. An additional focal point of the brunch is Chocolate, with amazing displays of moulded construction tools really topping off the construction site atmosphere. Throughout the afternoon, the hotels resident band and DJ provide a fun selection of music and videos to ensure the afternoon buzzes along.

Well done Movenpick, when the going gets tough, the tough get going!
